Account and Data Deletion

This page explains how users of MoonShort, MobAI account services, and connected MOBAI applications can permanently delete their account and associated data.

1. Delete a MoonShort Account in the App

MoonShort account deletion is completed directly in the app. No email, phone call, or website visit is required.

1. Sign in to MoonShort or use Guest Login.
2. Open Person, tap the menu icon, and open Settings.
3. Tap Delete Account.
4. Complete both confirmations and the three-second safety wait.
5. Tap Permanently Delete.

After the server confirms deletion, MoonShort clears the local session and returns to the sign-in screen with a completion message.

2. What We Delete

When a valid account deletion is confirmed, we permanently delete the account record and associated personal data controlled by MobAI, including:

• MobAI account profile information and login identifiers.
• Google or Apple sign-in identifiers linked to your account.
• Session records, OAuth consent records, and account-linked access tokens where no longer required.
• MoonShort story progress, saves, choices, minigame results, inventory, virtual currency, and gameplay records associated with the account.
• Account-linked support or operational records that are no longer needed for the retention purposes below.

3. What We May Retain

We may retain limited records when necessary for security, fraud prevention, abuse prevention, legal compliance, dispute handling, payment processing, accounting, or other legitimate business and legal requirements.

We may also retain aggregated or anonymized analytics that can no longer reasonably identify you. Backup copies may remain until they expire through our normal backup lifecycle.

4. Processing Timeline

Confirmed MoonShort in-app deletion is processed immediately. Support fallback requests are acknowledged within 7 days and are normally completed within 30 days, unless a longer period is required for account verification, security review, legal compliance, fraud prevention, or payment disputes.

5. Support Fallback

If you cannot access MoonShort, or need deletion assistance for another MobAI account service, email legal@mobai.dev with the subject line MobAI Account Deletion Request. This support option does not replace or delay the MoonShort in-app deletion flow.

If you used Sign in with Apple, deletion of your MoonShort account and data still completes in the app. You can separately remove Lunaverse from your Apple Account under Settings > [your name] > Sign in with Apple; this optional provider-access step is not required to complete MoonShort account deletion.
