Account and Data Deletion

This page explains how users of MoonShort, MobAI account services, and connected MOBAI applications can request deletion of their account and associated data.
1. How to Request Deletion
To request deletion of your account and associated data, email legal@mobai.dev with the subject line MobAI Account Deletion Request.
Please include at least one account identifier so we can locate your account:
- Your MobAI or MoonShort username.
- Your Google login email, if you used Google sign-in.
- Your MobAI or MoonShort user ID, if available.
- The connected MOBAI application where you used the account, such as MoonShort.
2. What We Delete
When we process a valid account deletion request, we delete or anonymize account-associated data such as:
- MobAI account profile information and login identifiers.
- Google sign-in identifiers linked to your MobAI account.
- Session records, OAuth consent records, and account-linked access tokens where no longer required.
- MoonShort story progress, saves, choices, minigame results, inventory, virtual currency, and gameplay records associated with the account.
- Account-linked support or operational records that are no longer needed for the retention purposes below.
3. What We May Retain
We may retain limited records when necessary for security, fraud prevention, abuse prevention, legal compliance, dispute handling, payment processing, accounting, or other legitimate business and legal requirements.
We may also retain aggregated or anonymized analytics that can no longer reasonably identify you. Backup copies may remain until they expire through our normal backup lifecycle.
4. Processing Timeline
We aim to acknowledge deletion requests within 7 days and complete valid requests within 30 days, unless a longer period is required for account verification, security review, legal compliance, fraud prevention, payment disputes, or other legitimate retention needs.
5. Manual Processing
Deletion requests are currently processed by the MobAI support team. The request email is used as the support ticket and audit record. We will reply after the request is completed or if additional verification is needed.
